If you’re looking for a clean and cozy place to stay near everything you need for a lovely holiday and don’t mind communal bathrooms, then this is your spot. I’ll definitely stay here when I’m in NYC again.

Very nice in general. Especially nice for the location and price. Friendly staff, clean everything, and didn’t hear anyone else there besides the doors.

There are definitely no frills here, but the room was clean and neat. The women's bathroom had two very large, well-equipped showers. The location is great -- just a few blocks from the 14th street subway station. I would stay here again.

This is the nicest hostel I’ve stayed in. The historical building is well maintained, the rooms and shared bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable. It’s conveniently located in a beautiful neighbourhood and within walking distance to some iconic NYC spots. It’s also not far from an E-bike station. I would recommend ear plugs and an eye mask if you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to the light coming in through the window.

The room was clean with AC, washrooms were fine/good—what you would expect in a hostel. Perfect for not too long a stay in NYC! Great location, 10 minutes from the subway. Provided robes, towels, and facecloths. It is spring mattresses, so be aware of that if it matters a lot to you, but a great stay! I would recommend to anyone going to NYC.

Space and location are exactly as described, a little noisy from outside at times from, but overall a pleasant stay. Great neighbourhood with loads of bars/restaurants and access to everything you could want downtown. Would definitely recommend if you're on a budget and okay with tight quarters : )

Shout out to Shakira at the front desk, she was super friendly and helpful. The place was good value for my stay ($150/night), but I wouldn't pay any more than that (no private bathrooms, single mattress, etc).

I traveled from Boston; it was my first time at this hotel, and I loved everything. It was very quiet and clean, and the staff was super friendly. The room was not only spotless but also extremely comfortable. Plus, the hotel is in a walkable area with various places to eat and shops nearby. I recommend it.❤️

As a solo female traveler, this was a great place to stay. I felt very safe here and the staff were so kind. The room was perfect! Clean and enough room for just myself! Room had AC which was helpful, and the showers were very clean and kept up. I look forward to staying again!

Affordable and very close to a metro station. The staff was very helpful and the place was very well maintained and clean. It comes with a laundry room and although it has communal bathrooms, it was very clean and posed no issue. The rooms were certainly small with no room for a chair and the only place to sit down was on the bed which is not very wide. It had a TV and only downside for me as there was no ice machine. I will definitely stay here again when in NYC and comfortable and felt very safe.
