Loved our stay. The room was a generous size and I loved the Le Labo toiletries. The staff was lovely. I recommend staying on a lower floor as the rooftop bar was quite loud, though we had no trouble sleeping so it wasn’t a big issue for us. Quite sure they would have changed rooms if we had asked.

The staff were very nice and welcoming, and overall, the hotel itself is beautiful. However, I was disappointed by some of the amenities. The fact that the pool closes at 2 PM on weekends is very inconvenient, especially for travelers, and it’s also strange that the pool hours aren’t listed on the Expedia app. Additionally, for a “5-star hotel,” the lack of valet parking was surprising and inconvenient. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel with friendly staff, but the limited amenities and hours made the stay less convenient than expected.

The hotel boasts an exceptional location. While the gym is satisfactory, the pool is notably diminutive and closes at 4 PM, which was somewhat disappointing. My girlfriend and I returned from dinner to the hotel to enjoy a beverage on the rooftop bar at approximately 10 PM, only to find it closed. Despite our initial annoyance, the front desk clerk demonstrated remarkable hospitality by providing us with a bottle of Prosecco to commemorate my birthday.

Nice hotel, good location. What wasn’t great was the unadvertised fact that the pool is only partially open on weekends (until 2p) due to the fact that the roof bar turns into a party zone with DJ. The fridge in my room didn’t cool - the front desk told me to just leave the cabinet door open then entire time which did not solve the problem even after 3 days. Finally, the shower diverter valve did not work so I only had the handheld shower to use and not the rainhead.

Rooms are small but very clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is extremely well situated at the edge of to SoHo and a super easy walk to the 1 subway and 6th Avenue. The pool is tiny and the rooftop becomes a club at night so it’s not as relaxing an amenity as we had thought it would be. But it is quite a decent value if you can get a good price, and the staff are very nice.
