This hotel is phenomenal, I am so astonished at how it was so tastefully remodeled from the old terminal to it's current form, I used to work in one of their duty-free shops when it was active a long time ago, but to experience it now, it was amazing, the amenities are top notch, 24hr gym is superb and the meals at the Paris Café are out of this world, best fried calamari ever! The rooms are luxuriously appointed and clean, if you are ever in the area or want to early for your flight at JFK, I highly recommend you treat yourself to a night or two at this great historical icon of a lodging.

Great staff, particularly at the information desk and the bar/restaurants. Clean spacious room with excellent blackout blinds. Sound-proofing is great in terms of not hearing planes, however we could hear the room next door and people in the corridor along with persistent beeping car horns. Nevertheless, the walkway into the terminal made getting to our very early flight seamless. So we would stay again. Rooms are expensive but the hotel is fun and sadly they have the monopoly on the location, so can't imagine they will lower their prices.

Overall, hotel exceeded my expectations. It’s an airport hotel after all. Bedrooms were a bit small but fine for a night, and we had luggage! Very clean. Large shower w/ great water pressure. Nice sized bathroom. Paris restaurant was very good. Nice wine selection. Staff was professional and helpful. Music piped throughout common areas was great! The Connie, which was awesome to board, needs a little attention. Time for some sprucing. We did not use any amenities so can’t comment on those. The common areas could be spruced up a bit too, but quite nice given the amount of travelers they must greet daily. I would not hesitate to stay again if my travel itinerary warranted.

It was not as conveniently located as I was hoping. I stayed at this hotel between flights and due to construction, it was very difficult to get to. That may improve once construction is done. I had large suitcases from my extended travel and there was no help getting them to my room, not even a trolley. And the floors are mostly carpeted, so the bags did not travel easily on them. The design is very cute and fun. I didn’t try the food court, so I don’t know how good that is. It seemed busy from what I saw.

The Paris Cafe was excellent......the manager (Raj) and wait staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the food was excellent. I have stayed here several times and appreciate the convenience and the retro vibe.......this time, the room overlooking a construction site was not the best, and charging guests extra for pool usage is something I think should be addressed. The prices are high ( even for New York). The plastic TWA drink glasses now cost extra....the first few times I stayed, they were included with the ( overpriced) cocktails. "Little" perks are what travelers remember, and returning to some of your initial benefits would enhance the guest experience. Nonetheless, I recognize the monopoly you have on accommodations at JFK.....and it is a neat experience.

The rooms small but clean, refrigerators don’t work, elevator buttons/key swipe work in some but not in others. There is a pool for a fee of $25 per person for a 2 hours time slot. After each one everyone is asked to leave and a new group comes in. Pool small but very neat view. Pool bar food beat food on site. The main areas are neat as the model an older time but most areas need a restoration. Old floors, displays faded cracked and the stairs to the connie TWA airplane seating bar area are rusted through jn spots. The service in food court is terrible. Location is great

It was very cool and convenient for us to stay at this hotel. However: when we arrived, there was a flood in the stairs, elevators were not working and we were unable to go to the roof to see the pool and the view. Unfortunate, these things happen. Also I was unaware, that even guests had to pay to use the roof top pool area after a certain time. It should be included with the stay. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Nowhere to hang wet towels, other than on hooks so close together it was difficult to fit to bath towels side by side. The walk in shower floor is slippery, the glass partition, insufficient to stop water from getting out onto the bathroom floor. Fortunately I brought my own lotion and a shower cap, which was removed by the cleaning staff from off the sink vanity. I can't imagine trying to hang a winter coat on the hooks hanger in that area. It was obvious the rooms were designed by a man that did not spend the night. The food in the restaurant/food hall was good and the staff delightful. I am grateful the mid-century terminal has found a new purpose. I have fond memories of visiting when my Mom worked for BOAC at the IAB & later BA in the new terminal to welcome the Concord.
