It was good, except we moved from one room to the other every single night. Even though the staff was very helpful, it was very inconvenient especially after a long day of exploring the city and coming back to pack everything and move again.

Do yourselves a favor and don’t repeat our mistake. Due to a flight delay getting into JFK we decided to stay here for the night as it was a short drive from the airport and it was too late to take the train we had planned on taking. The photos on Expedia looked nice enough for one night of rest before continuing our journey. But the place is a dump. It reeks of stale cigarette smoke and I probably got 4 hours of sleep at most due to the noise from the street and waking up coughing due to the air quality. We had to switch rooms from our original room because of stains and cigarette burns on the bed. Second room was better but by a slim margin. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough in the morning, and hopefully didn’t get sick. The gentleman that checked us in was nice, probably because we were a welcomed departure from their usual clientele. I would not stay here again.

This hotel was honestly really cozy to say the least, stayed for 4 nights and felt comfortable through out the whole trip. easy check in easy check out. lost the room key and there was no extra charge which was actually pretty cool . front desk guys were super friendly easy to talk to, asked for extra towels and room service there was no hassle. if you're looking to stay in Brooklyn or NYC for a great rate Book the Moon Hotel for sure, great place to stay !

Desk Staff was courteous, toilet deeds to be kept oder free and the bathroom needs to be properly sealed from escaping water when showering also room attendant should taught NOT TO ENTER ROOMS when there is a do no Disturb sign on doors. good luck finding parking lol you’ll be lucky if you snag a spot close, we had to park maybe 2 blocks down on a little side street. not super convenient if you have lots of luggage and park far. you do have. a perfect view of the projects right behind the building lol so just be mindful its not a super tourist place. but our stay went well, we got in and out safely and quickly. booked online, just have to set a deposit in person. but nice for a short trip ! i wouldnt stay longer then 1/2 nights! rooms are small but good for 2 ppl
