We were in town for 2 baseball games. Super easy getting to and from Citi Field via the MTA. Hotel is affordable and basic. But it's clean and assuming you need a safe place to keep your stuff and place to sleep it's all great. You're a 40 minute MTA ride to Manhattan. Subway station is close by and very easy to navigate.

Had a two night stay in Flushing, and John Hotel was the most reasonably priced choice that was still good quality. Check in/check out was easy, breakfast offerings were good. Will probably stay here when next need accommodation in the area.

Everything there was very clean and the staff friendly. Unfortunately, the surroundings were very messy. The dining room also had an unpleasant odor. Nevertheless, the food was delicious and there was plenty of choice.
