My family of four enjoyed our stay here. The location was fantastic for getting to Grand Central Station (just a 5 minute walk) which was good for us since we were traveling with luggage. The location is a short walk to a variety of restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops but a longer walk (30-45 minutes) to sights such as Times Square, Central Park, battery park, etc. The staff was lovely, the rooms were comfortable(didn’t spend much time there) and the complementary happy hour wine was a nice touch!

Booked the hotel for the old England/British vibe which satisfied my aesthetic need. The reception area is well-designed to reminiscent a luxury home. The bed is extremely comfortable. Bathroom is quite small but it does what it's suppose to do. Hallway and elevator are quite small but it doesn't matter much. Overall, it's a great stay.

Pros: - Location was fantastic and area felt safe - Staff was extremely friendly/helpful - asked for something every night and without hesitation they delivered - Newly renovated Moments of improvement: - Resort fee is quite high considering we could not use their gym since it is under construction. - We found a lot of hair in the room and bathroom upon arrival. - Water station by first floor around the corner was incredibly slow and did not dispense a lot of water - took me 5 minutes to refill my bottle. - Room was a bit smaller than we expected. - Sound travels from the hallway and we could hear almost everything from inside the room

I did a birthday staycation and it was great. The staff was super welcoming and accommodating. Our room's tv wasn't working and they happily changed our room and gave us a great view. Only downside the shower's did not get super hot at all.

Wow! The staff at this hotel is so friendly. I was in NYC for 4 days for an event, and they really made me feel like I was leaving and returning home. Don't miss the happy hour. It's a nice way to wind down after a busy day. I got a room with the jetted tub, and it was fabulous. Will definitely be back.

It’s is a newly renovated property conveniently located three blocks from Grand Central. Well-appointed with a West Elm vibe. Great staff. Room size was slightly bigger than the usual NYC hotel room. Bathroom Was small but serviceable. Nice view of the Empire State Building. 20 minute walk to the theatre district. Lovely stay. Only downside was our room had an adjoining door and we could hear the next door occupants pretty clearly. Would stay again!

Stayed in a double queen room. For a hotel which had been recently renovated - my mattress was terribly sunken in. Really, the only issue with the hotel, other than the mattress was the bathroom. The bathroom was SO very small, though I imagine that this isn't unusual in NYC. But the water pressure in the shower was terrible. They have large shower heads with tons of spray jets. Pressure could be improved with a smaller head with fewer jets to concentrate the flow. The bathroom also didn't have a fan which was problematic for humidity and odors. The good: fabulous staff very helpful and warm. Lovely cocktail hour, beautiful building, great location.
