Nice rooms, great price, easy and quick access to downtown. The neighborhood may feel a bit sketchy at first but was overall safe. The hotel is located on the same street with several other hotels.

New and clean - great interior. Not a safe neighborhood but easily overcome by taking door-to-door Ubers to cool (safe) venues very close by.

The hotel is very clean, the staff very attentive. The location very well connected. subway very close. A small hotel zone of clean and cheap lodgings. Don't expect a fancy neighborhood. open your mind to see what you will see in that neighborhood.

I love this hotel. I couldn't imagine that such a clean and comfortable hotel could be found in this area. From the reception to the people who do the cleaning, everyone is very friendly. The only drawback that I have seen is the surroundings, garbage and the neighborhood a bit neglected but that does not depend on the hotel. But the hotel is great! I will come back again and again.

The hotel was good and clean, but the area was dirty, and you could see people searching garbage. If I knew this fact about the hotel, I would've not booked it.

Great option for budget hotel

We visit NYC frequently and normally stay in midtown. But this trip was a quick 4 day stopover after an extended vacation and the midtown hotels were ridiculously priced. Picked Hotel The Villa because of its close location to the subway and good reviews and we were not disappointed. Hotel was in good condition, check-in was super fast and easy, it was quiet and clean. The walk to the subway was only 5 minutes and it took us straight to Bryant Park. I wish there would have1 been an extra pillow and extra blanket, but very satisfied

Save money Hotel with comfort

Good hotel in Long Island City. Near to the Queensbridge subway station (7 minutes walk). Clean, comfortable bedroom, with all things you need to rest and take a break (good shower, bed, space, tv, internet). There is no place to eat near the hotel (restaurants or caffes). Need to order or walk. The neighborhood is most fabrics and other hotels. Good place to stay if you want to save money instead of staying in Manhattan.
