This by far was the smallest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It should almost be illegal- the space was so tight for my partner, our bags and myself. It gave me anxiety. The location was ideal if you’re exploring the Times Square however it’s almost impossible to relax in the room if that’s your goal

Great location, everything was fine until the last day. Hot water was out for about 2-3 hours in the entire building. Then after it came back on around 1am, Fire alarms were going on and off for about 2 hours and the hallway ceiling was leaking water heavy. Then around 10am the hot water was back off.

Beware of the hidden fees that they claim to tell you about but they don’t mention until you’re checking out. It’s $32 a night for taxes on top of what you’ve already paid. Also there was only hot water 2 of our 5 days staying here. It just didn’t get warm no matter what we did. The room is obviously small (it’s NY) but the queen bed was up against the wall so I had to climb over to get into bed and there was no power on that side so that was annoying. There’s barely any room for anything so the bags were constantly shifting around the room. The staff wasn’t very friendly either and would just ignore or look annoyed every time we came in and out. The bed made my back hurt and was uncomfortable. Overall not a great place to stay but it was good enough I guess. Could be worse but wasn’t good at all. The location was good and the Irish bar downstairs was cool.

Everything was super close by subway was right in front. Very convenient for Times Square and subway stations close to restaurants and shops in the heart of Times Square walkable distance to shows, target, cvs. Room was very small but cozy and was perfect for two. Great customer service at front desk. Phone didn’t work to call front desk. Ac/ heater had to be operated by someone from maintenance. Shower did not have hot water or I didn’t know how to turn it on cause the sink water was very hot.

First impressions were cute. Small, functional, clean… everything I needed for my overnight stay. I went to take a shower and there was NO HOT WATER. I tried calling the front desk and the phone in the room didn’t even work. I called them from my personal phone and the front desk lady said that maintenance would be there to fix it. I waited 30 minutes and no one came. I called the desk again and she game me the excuse of “oh maybe they went to go fix something else”… at this point it was 1am. What else would need fixing at this hour? Like I think that having hot water is pretty dire, especially in the New York winter weather. I didn’t end up showering and while I was checking out the next day I brought up the concern again. Another lady at the front desk told me that I should’ve left the water running for 10-15 minutes to warm up? Never have I ever heard of that. Next time I’m in the city I definitely will not stay here again.
