This was a wonderful little hotel. I didn't understand why they would have a room with 2 queen beds when 1 bed was so close to the wall but otherwise enjoyed our stay.

Clean, comfortable and well managed

For a reasonable price for a modest but clean, comfortable room and even a few good amenities (bananas for the taking particularly), someone who wants to be in this part of the Upper West Side can't do better than Hotel Newton.

No frills Upper West Side goodie

Hotel Newton is a no frills, convenient hotel which I found to be satisfactory for my needs. My room was tiny with no view (maybe street side would be beat, but perhaps noisier?) For somebody wanting a budget hotel at a great location, this place is for you.
