Lovely hotel, incredibly convenient location, significantly roomier than your typical New York hotel. I was especially impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the immaculate cleanliness of the hotel throughout. Some of the decor is vintage but in a way that makes it feel cool and custom.

Diner next door, Starbucks on same side of Broadway but across the street, a grocery across the street from the hotel, and the 72nd subway stop on the red line (1, 2, 3) a couple blocks away. Convenient public transportation. Mostly quiet, as far as NYC goes. Large 1 bdrm with stovetop and refrigerator. Two TVs, though did need to talk to the front desk to get both working. Staff friendly.
