It was super hot in the lobby and the breakfast area and the halls outside the rooms. Only one elevator was working and we ended up having to use the stairs to the 7th floor due to the long wait. We did appreciate the friendly staff especially the lady working the breakfast each morning.

Great location outside of the typical touristy areas. Clean and decent size room. I wouldn't ask the front desk for NY restaurant suggestions, though!! I'm a NYer and asked for a few and was told Red Lobster!! Do your own research for that! Our stay was perfectly fine and would return.

The staff were very kind and friendly. They checked to inquire about satisfaction with the hotel and how my stay was going in the City! At first I thought it was a bot, but it was the front desk staff! I had to extend my stay by two days, because a couple blocks from the hotel I tripped over uneven pavement and fell the wrong way which resulted in a fractured rib. They were able to keep me in the same room and promptly reset my door keys as each extension became effective. Especially kind, empathetic and helpful were Betsy, Melvin, Sharon, and Alethea!! Thanks so much for your service and to the housekeeper who tidied up when I requested.
