Our room was clean and comfortable, it was quiet at night and air conditioner struggled but it worked well enough. Staff was kind, professional and helpful. Great location - a short walk from Penn Station and Herald Square, and lots of good restaurants a short walk away. The room was not very large, but larger than I've come to expect for Manhattan. Breakfast was what I'd come to expect from Hampton Inns elsewhere. And very welcome, because breakfast at NYC restaurants can be pricey.
