The hotel was in a very central spot and very near to the Empire State Building - ideal for the metro connections and for visiting all areas of manhattan. The hotel was Modern and the room had the biggest and comfiest bed ( the rooms were cleaned daily) the shower was large and the room was lovely.

I dont understand the low ratings for this hotel. But when my wife and I did an unplanned trip to nyc, we booked this hotel and it was amazing. Cant complaint about anything except the sink was too big that it was way too close to the toilet, forcing you to learn a bit forward when you sit on it. Other than that, the room was client and comfortable, the location was amazing. Most important of all was the staff.

This is a great little hotel in a nice area. The location is convenient to any spots you might want to visit in Manhattan. There's a nice coffee shop downstairs.

place is way over priced for quite basic room with very few and low quality amenities; neighborhood is decent with lots of good korean BBQ places

Small room, but fine for a single traveler. A weird, pretty loud clanking, banging noise now and then in the evening and night, which didn't do much for my sleep. Friendly staff, in walking distance of several interesting spots and the subway.
