We had the most wonderful stay at the Gansevoort. The property is gorgeous and well located for sight seeing. Jake the concierge was so helpful and went out of his way to ensure we had the best say and with out onward plans, all the staff were fantastic. Next time we are in NYC we will definitely stay again

This is a great hotel in a fantastic location. Easy to get to all the places. The rooms were super clean and the amenities were lovely. And the pool was a nice touch. Although the $150-$200 for the loungers were a bit expensive for 2hrs. I will absolutely stay here again!

Very nice hotel with large rooms (by NYC standards). Small but comfortable bar and a better than normal gym. While we usually stay in the SOHO/TriBeca area, we enjoyed the meatpacking district. We would definitely stay here again.

Second time at property. Outstanding location for strolling, eating, shopping, people, and room stay. Be clear you want to stay in room at front of building view is excellent, rear not so much. Location provides center point to navigate around NY. Probably my favorite spot in all the city.

80 minutes to be given the room key after 3 pm check in time. We were not the only people waiting, there were 2 other families as well. Gave us $100 credit which you get anyway with some sites. Not really a compensation when you arrive long haul. We chose the hotel for the pool but it was a zoo all afternoon with absolutely nowhere to sit or swim. People stand inside the pool round the edges with their drinks on the side. It is open to non hotel guests so not worth booking if you want a pool in the city. The sockets next to the bed on both the bedside tables didn’t work. Didn’t seem like a tight enough ship. The staff were lovely and always trying to help.
