The Fitzpatrick is a very old school NY hotel - the rooms are old fashioned but dead quiet. It was a pleasure to stay there. Location is ideal - right next to Grand Central. Staff was lovely.

This hotel was very convenient to Grand Central Station. Easily walkable to the theater district. Both the room and bath were very spacious. The bed was super comfy.

The rooms are very spacious. Room service was very fast and the coffee was excellent. The heating system is old, and needs to be tweaked occasionally to keep the room at a constant temperature, however it's not a huge issue. Towels are scratchy, as far as that goes, that's the only negative I can think of.

Very clean and comfortable with an exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. I did not have breakfast or any other food, but the adjacent restaurant seemed busy. Area around the property is Lexington Ave. very close to Grand Central Station, so it's loud and crowded. The hotel was quiet; an oasis in the midst of the mayhem outside!
