Great location that’s central to everywhere you want to go. Clean and cheaper compared to most places. Pretty loud at night like you can hear everyone on the stairwell and in the building along with outside noise

Check-in went very smoothly the room definitely had everything we needed. This was a staffless hotel however the Hotel staff ( James specifically )was very helpful and swift to confirm and assist with anything we needed. LOCATION was great everything we wanted to do was within a 30 min walk or less. Lots of things to eat nearby there was even a fresh market right next to the building with great breakfast options for a quick breakfast 10/10

We love the immersive experience of this hotel. We stay here every time we visit our son who lives in the neighborhood and now it feels like ours. The staff is wonderful! Some of the rooms could use some updates. It’s a really old building, so that has to be expected. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Needs much better cleaning crew. Shower had hair on the tile. Floors were dusty. Wall in bathroom had stains...also it is noisy at night but thats NY. Location is good. For the price is ok if you can live with dirty. Also the entrance door to.the hotel does not lock by itself and it is left unlocked most.of the time.

Enjoyed the contactless check-in/check-out process, made it very easy to make changes. The room I booked did not appear to be the one I received, but the check-in instructions indicated that that was a possibility. Room was extremely neat and tidy. Great location in East Village. At least 4 restaurants that I noticed on thw same block. Earplugs were provided for street noise, but I didn't need them. Overall a great stay. The property manager was very easy to communicate with.

Great location with lots of restaurants, bars, and shops around. The walls, windows, and doors do not block out a lot of sound, but that is expected for NYC. You could easily hear the street and other guests, bring earplugs (they supplied some also). The towels were very low quality and each person only gets one per night, so plan for that. There is a strange smell in the entry way but the room smelled fine. The bed was comfy overall. I'd stay here again since it's close to our friends house for a great price.
