This particular Comfort Inn is a step above other locations in all of the categories that matter. The only issue is that paying an extra $40 for parking is a bit of a rip off because a room for a night in NYC is expensive enough as it is.

Room was clean and staff was super friendly and helpful. The lady at the front desk stopped some sketchy lady from going up the stairs until she could confirm that she was actually invited. The breakfast was good and my kids enjoyed the soccer ball shaped waffles during the World Cup. I paid to park there and my car was clean and safe. There was free street parking available behind the hotel, but I didn’t want to park a rental on the street. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. I had originally booked a different hotel and ended up switching here. I’m so glad we did!

The hotel is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the subway. It was clean and quiet for a city location. The fitness center was tiny but functional. The breakfasts were kinda lacklustre but not all that bad. Unfortunately, many of the guests staying at the time with us were smoking 4.20, and the stench pervading the halls gave me a headache. Parking onsite is $40/day, and comes with in-out privileges.
