Perfect stay for solo travelers! I stayed 2 nights as a female solo traveler and felt very safe. Room was super clean and the AC works amazing. Contactless check-in was super smooth. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

The room was okay for one night. Bathroom shower was dirty, towels were questionable but the bed was very comfortable and they had free snacks. We were on the first floor so we heard everyone coming in, no elevator or amenities. Overall 3.5/5

Staff was very friendly, especially Wilma when we checked in. Bags were taken up to our room (thankfully, as there was no elevator lol) could grab a coffee downstairs anytime. Felt very safe and secure. Reasonably priced too.

We reserved the family suite for our family and it was just the right size. We needed a place to sleep for one night and this was perfect. We were pleasantly surprised with the 2 full bathrooms. Elaine was super helpful in letting us drop our bags off early and then putting them in our room. The Inn is in a great area in Chelsea.

It was a good place, very clean and well maintained. The self service for all matters was good once set up. The lack of the front desk after work hour and meal service was a bit challenge. Beside that the location and secure services is all worth the prices.

Chelsea Inn was a great place to stay. Located in a great area not too far from great attractions such as Times Square, Chelsea Market/ the high line, and gramercy theater which I went to for a concert. The neighborhood was calm enough to where I could sleep in the afternoon with no trouble and comfortably go for a walk past dark. The room itself had the necessary essentials for resting and relaxing. Although small it was comfortable as a solo traveler. The only downside was the lack of elevators, as my room was on the fifth floor.

I liked my room and bed. Here are my issues. No shampoo or soap in shower, only a handful of digital tv channels featuring sitcom reruns, advertising, usa net and the sci-fi channel and weather and no local or national news. The biggest issue for me was no elevator and no warning of that when booking. I'm 72 and I have heart and breathing issues going up and these steps are steep. I was on the 5th floor.

Limited outlets; the room is extremely small and located right at the entry door and on street level. It was very difficult to feel safe, and it was noisy. Positives: The staff was excellent. Particularly, Wilma was outstanding. She was pleasant, accommodating, responsive, and helpful.

Air conditioning did not work even though we had it in the lowest setting. Temperature in the room felt like 80 degrees. I think there is also a school nearby so there was constant yelling from kids. Another thing is pack light, there is no elevators and we were in the fourth floor with carry ons and back bags. One last thing, bring you’re own toiletries, they only provide like a 2 & 1 shampoo/ body wash. If you’re just looking for a roof over your head this is just fine, the people are nice, and place was clean.
