Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was rather minimal but adequate. Most staff were very friendly and helpful. Our basic room was OK for a week for 2 people, but space is limited. Very quiet at night. Would recommend to people wanting quality in NYC and yet trying to save some over the highest rated hotels.

Despite the center location, the hotel is quiet, unassuming and pleasant, the staff are very helpful, I love it that it’s never crowded, the glass of wine in the evening is a nice touch, I wish the breakfast were just a bit better, but that’s a minor point, just think this is only one block from Carnegie Hall if you want to go here a concert

Great place to stay as a solo traveler! Was my first time in NYC, and I felt so welcome by the staff. They were able to hold onto my luggage my last day after check out while I explored, and even helped me navigate the subway. The wine and cheese hour was also a nice perk :) Would stay here again!

Hotel was clean, staff friendly. We stayed 7 nights. Unfortunately construction was going on right outside my window . Had I known this I would have not picked this hotel. I feel like they should have made this aware for the price I paid to stay. I did request to change rooms they moved me to a higher floor in another room that was located right by some sort of maintenance room that had loud noises all night long probably even worse than the construction. Basically I didn't sleep for seven nights so happy to get the heck out of there

Perfect hotel, perfect location and perfect price. Everything about this place is perfect! I don't want to hype it up to much though so that it's fully booked the next time I'm visiting New York. We usually stay at a Hilton nearby, but Carnegie is our new go to! We will be back for sure.
