For the deal we got I thought the room was a really good size. Plus a mini fridge. The front desk staff was so friendly and great. House keeping was always nearby. Fresh towels and everything every day. Smart tv and WiFi. Would stay again! I seen some say the area was unsafe but I felt totally fine. A great stay if you want affordable and good service

I needed a place to stay in Long Island City area. It was a last minute type of reservation - unplanned. I browsed nearby hotels using Expedia and found Capital Hotel. I was skeptical before check in, because the price was lower than the average hotel prices in the area - I was expecting mediocre rooms and amenities. When I checked in, I was surprised, because the room was cozy, clean, modern and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay in Capital Hotel again. I highly recommend this hotel.
