Had a great stay at the hotel. They kindly allowed me to check in 4 hours early, subject to room availability, which was extremely helpful. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I also appreciated that they offered free luggage storage after check-out. Overall, a very convenient and pleasant experience!

The rooms are very clean. The hairdryer in the room was useful. The bathrooms were also very clean, could use more places to hang clothes and towels, though. The staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was basic, but great if you’re in a rush to head out in the morning. Location is great, I felt safe while out on the street and while in the hotel and plenty of places to grab something to eat if you’re on a budget. It’s definitely very loud, though. You can clearly hear other guests/noise in the hall, so make sure to bring earplugs (they provide earplugs and a sleep mask, which is great) and you’ll be fine.

I had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is modest but clean, and the location is excellent—perfect for exploring Manhattan. I didn’t have breakfast because I always left early, although it would be nice if breakfast started a little earlier. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would happily stay here again.

There was AC and our room was clean. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The mattresses were not my favorite, they felt more like box springs. That is okay with us however, because we were out late and walking around all day, so we were dead tired! The shared bathroom situation was not that bad, except in the bathrooms they didnnot have hand soap. So that was weird. Great location, so it is worth it for the location next to bryant park for sure!

I was hesitant about staying at a hostel hotel because I was traveling alone and because of the shared bathroom, I didn’t know what to expect. I was there for 1 nt. First of all they let me check in early around 12pm which I really appreciated! The guy at the front desk was very nice. 2nd, this place was very clean: lobby, hallways, bathroom & my room (It seems newly remodeled). My bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was conveniently located across from my room, and I never felt uncomfortable when having to go or talking a shower at night. Best of all was THE LOCATION! My 2 complaints would be that my TV didn’t work: kept reading “no connection” but not a big deal since I was only there for 1 night and got back at 11:30pm in time just to go to sleep, and they didn’t provide water for guests downstairs with the coffee, tea & other brkfst items, they have it in a vending machine for purchase, but I was pleasantly surprised with my stay here and I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN.

This was a great stay at the Americana Inn. The staff is friendly, I was able to check in early, since my room was available, at no extra charge and they had a standard baggage drop for before and after your stay if you needed to wait closer to check in time. The room and property was very clean and the Inn is conveniently located from Port Authority with access to anything you want to see in NYC if your a tourist, or frequent visitor. Id definitely stay here again onnfurture visits.

Awesome staff very friendly , is shared bathrooms but they have like 3 or 4 on the same floor where I was and they were cleaned out often . Very cute comfy rooms my room had a sink too … the snacks were okay just normal bagels and coffee vending machine $1.25 sodas which isn’t bad . Over all 9/10 price of the stay was great too not expensive.
