The check in was fast and the hostess that took care of breakfast was very nice. The linens were of good quality and smelled fresh and clean. Room 106 was a clean spacious room with some staining on the ceiling and carpet from use. My only suggestion is to change the mattresses, the best way to describe the sensation as we were sleeping on a hill. Overall it was a great value and my observations were minor deficiencies and should not be a deferent from choosing this hotel.

2 night stay - Lobby, hallways, elevators and room clean. Microtel queen room compact but OK for short stay. Television remote, usually intuitive and relatively easy to operate, found almost impossible to figure out. So difficult that front desk had to provide printout of station channel numbers so desired stations could be located. 1st night stay alarm of "company" truck in parking lot kept going off and front desk needed help from police to locate owner and resolved problem with alarm. 2nd night stay barking dog, apparently left alone in room by its owners, barked continually for nearly 1 hour before barking stopped. Finally, walls separating rooms not sufficiently sound insulated to abate snoring in adjacent rooms.

Room was clean and staff was very helpful. Parking was on-site and easy. My favorite thing was that the A/C unit would go down to 64 or less and believe me, you felt it instantly. I like it cold at night and most hotel thermostats won't let you do this. My only complaints were: 1. The A/C unit was pretty loud. 2. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work. 3. The lighting is VERY dim in the room. There is one small recessed light that barely puts out any light (there are no lamps.) For us older folks, it makes it really hard to see at night. 4. The breakfast on the first day was sausage links, scrambled eggs, and pancakes. The next day (Sunday) was just biscuits and gravy. I assumed it would be the same breakfast every day. Overall we were pleased and would stay here again.
