Terrific overall experience. I went to this hotel because the Conf was being held there. But it’s in a fantastic area walkable to many restaurants very safe and had a rooftop bar, which was really nice covered so you could get great views of the city, my room was super spacious. The bed was absolutely comfortable. The pillows are phenomenal. Everything was great. I would stay there again and again and again. The staff was helpful. Every time I needed some thing and the recommendations they gave me for dinner was fantastic.

It's a beautiful building, clean and welcoming staff, the housekeepers are so helpful! It's a great location, very walkable distance to-from main attractions like riverwalk outlets, the aquarium, cesars casino and canal street. Across the street from WWII museum. The only thing you need to be aware of (I wasn't) is that they don't have free parking for guests, it's $45 per day It's a nice hotel.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Plenty of dining choices right there on the property but easy walk to some of Nola's famous restaurants. Gives you the New Orleans feel without having to be in the middle of the french quarter! We Ubered to the Saenger theatre, Luke restaurant, and St Louis Cathedral. We also used Pedi Cab Tyler 562-277-5521 a couple times and loved it!

The staff is very nice. The room was clean, however the charging station for iPhone, etc. next to the bed did not work. There was a leak in the bathroom that flooded the bathroom floor. The shower pan in the shower was stained and looked dirty. Higgins is a lovely hotel in general and in spite of the few minor glitches, we enjoyed our stay very much thank you
