This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. The ambience of this hotel and its rooms is good for couples. Never considered the importance of a hotel smelling really good until I got here - there's a wonderful scent in the general spaces of this hotel. The place is quite neat and the staff are always ready to help in anyway. The room was spacious. The location of the hotel is really good. As most people have said, the coach car is just at the front of the hotel. Magazine street is close by and so also is the Garden district. There's free parking too, which was really nice.

Free onsite, secure parking. Room was very clean. Loved the seating area. There is a water filler for filtered water. There is some construction next door but rooms have a sound machine to help with the noise AND earplugs are provided. Excellent location. Street car line right across the street. I Estates here several times over the years. It’s reasonable and convenient with free parking. Unfortunately there was construction going during this stay. The noise started at 7:30am with drilling, hammering etc. The outside sitting area had a lot of trash left around. I did forget my toothbrush and asked the front desk for one to hold me over. They didn’t have any. So I walked a few blocks over to Walgreens where a homeless person walked in while I was paying. He was asking everyone for cigarettes then turned and grabbed a bunch of stuff and ran out.

The property is located right across the street from a street car stop. The lobby is nice and clean. Other areas of the hotel need some general maintenance with some water damage here and there. Our room was decently clean, but the floors were dirty. The beds were comfortable. Overall, I would stay here again. The hotel doors lock at night and you have to use a code to get in. We were group of girls and never felt unsafe in the area.
