My wife and I stayed here the last week of May and loved it. Location is great between the bustle of the Bourbon St. area and Frenchman St. It's across the street from a bar, so that can get noisy. Old charming building with an attached building as well. Room was spacious and comfortable. Free breakfast was tasty and saved a ton of money on our trip. Gym is a hike way upstairs to get to. Staff had more than enough information and recommendations to make your trip memorable.

The property is very close to the French quarter and Frenchmen street. The pool was outdoors and a great place to chill after walking in the may new Orleans heat. We had a nice breakfast each morning which set us up to get on with our day. We had two rooms and each was unique and very pretty. Our bathroom was a bit small but the second room had a very large bathroom. Shower water pressure was great. I would recommend to all.

It’s become our tradition to stay at Melrose Mansion when we visit New Orleans. This was our 4th stay but the first time in six years.
