If you want to stay in the quarters, this Inn is in a great location. No issues with late night revelers, but walking distance to all places of interest in the quarters...Bourbon St, Cafe Dumond, French Market/Mississippi River walk to the Mall and even Frenchman St.

The price and location are a plus. I liked the historic feel. The main problem was the property access which is done with an electronic key. I had difficulty obtaining the "key" and then once obtained it didn't work well. The street access door wasn't secure for most of my stay. It took several attempts to open my room more than once. The air conditioning system was substandard. The bathroom door didn't close. It wouldn't take much to make this a really good property. I won't be staying again.

The property does not have any staff on sight, so upon check in you have to drive or walk multiple blocks to get to a staff member for help. The second floor is up 2 very sketchy sets of stairs, that if carrying luggage, beware. We found a total of 3 dead cockroaches in our room during our stay and on the last day a living little lizard. Our room did not have any cold water in the shower, so in the NOLA heat, only way to rinse off the sweat was rather hot water. The good: beds comfortable, location is prime for walking all over the French quarter, we parked right out front the whole weekend, property was pretty quiet especially at night and the value of booking in the FQ was not terrible.

The room was fairly clean except the floor was clearly not swept or vacuumed before we arrived. There was a press on fingernail laying out in the middle of the floor. It was is a historic property, which was great, but the door handle kept falling off in our hands to enter the room, the ac unit did not work so it was left with power that made it blink a bright digital light all night long, and a portable window unit was installed instead. This unit had an error code when we arrived and it turned out it just needed to be emptied, which we did to get some ac going, but it would have been nice not to have to maintain it on our own. Then when other neighbors used the courtyard to smoke in the middle of the night, the window unit would suck all of the smoke into our room. The bathroom door also would not close, so we had to prop furniture in front of it to keep it shut for privacy. The location was PERFECT and it was in the middle of everything but the courtyard room made it super quiet and a nice place to get away. We stayed for a full week so the issues were fine if it were just a night or two. But a week of blinking digital lights and cigarette smoke at 3 am was a lot.

Great location! Walking distance to everything we wanted to go to, but in a quieter area. Clean and staff were accommodating. My only complaint was the size of the shower. It was nearly impossible to shave your legs.

I had a lovely stay at Inn on Ursulines. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the French Quarter but still peaceful enough to relax and unwind. The rooms have so much charm and character, really giving you that classic New Orleans feel. The staff was kind and welcoming, making the whole experience feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. I especially appreciated the courtyard—it’s such a beautiful, quiet spot to sit and take everything in. If you’re looking for a cozy, well-located place with personality, this is definitely a great choice. I would absolutely stay here again.
