I absolutely LOVED our stay! The staff were all so kind, the room was clean and nice cold AC, the hotel itself is so unique with its history, and the "New Orleans" feel. They always had tea and coffee and use of a microwave available in the lobby. The parking was a shkrt walk/drive and was secure in a garage and that made peace of mind so much better. This will be the 1st place i look at going forward when visiting The French Quarter.

We had a pleasant stay at Villa Convento, felt it was a good price for a French Quarter location. The place is old, elevator is super slow but that was expected and I was glad to climb stairs to our room instead especially after all the great meals we had in NOLA. It was clean, room (#408) had everything we need (bigger shelf in shower would've been helped), it was quiet, we had two balconies and plenty of room. We were right in the middle of things, super convenient location especially if you plan to stay put in the French Quarter. Heard a rumor that renovations are to begin soon but didn't confirm with hotel staff. We'll definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in the best location close to everything the French Quarter has to offer. Super friendly staff. Very clean rooms and comfy beds. I would def stay again. The absolutely only thing I would change would be the toilet paper it’s harsh so bring your own.

It is obviously an older building but inside is well appointed and clean. Took us a few minutes to find our room so a small location map would be appreciated. The hotel is in the French Quarter, so it is an old building. It has some paint pealing from the ceilings and walls, and the floor creeks. The two-person elevator is very slow. However, the staff is great and loction is good - far enough away from the craziness of Bourbon street, but close enough to enjoy the entire Quarter. There is a cafe across the street for breakfast coffee and resturants 2-3 minutes stroll away.
