Extremely helpful staff. In the French Quarter, close enough to walk to all major sites, but far enough from Bourbon street to be quiet and restful. Ceiling fans are a nice room feature.

We had a wonderful time with us here. Everything was beautiful clean. Everyone was kind and welcoming! My only complaint is we had two reservations one that lasted three nights and one that lasted a single night for the three nights we stayed in a hotel room that was beautiful but very hot due to the AC not working we did ask for help but nothing was ever fixed or changed and they couldnā€™t change rooms because they were booked understandably soā€¦ for the last night we stayed in another charming hotel room which was cold and clean and gorgeous so again I love it. The only issue was the heat for those first nightsā€¦ WILL BE BACK TO THIS CHARMING CLEAN PERFECTLY CENTERED HOTEL

I booked a king suit for my stay. Everything was perfect about the room, expect for the duration of my stay which was 5 days I had no hot water. Every morning and every night I took an ice cold shower, I spoke to a few other people in my group and this was not the case in their rooms. Additionally, the room was clean and the hotel has a fantastic location. You are close to a lot of activities in the FQ, especially museums. If you are looking to stay somewhere historic rather than a Hilton or Holiday Inn, I would recommend the Hotel St Pierre. There is also a breakfast spot called ā€œWaking & Bakingā€ 2 minutes from the hotel that had an amazing breakfast.

The staff was very nice but the rooms left a lot to be desired! The rooms are on both sides of the street, ours just happened to be facing the actual hotel front door. The problem is everytime someone comes back from partying they got dropped off right in front of our room, and if anybody has been to New Orleans knows that is all night so we didnā€™t get much sleep for 2 nights. It gets an average rating just because of the friendly staff. The horse drawn carriages going by the room at night was kind of cool.

Pros: classic New Orleans charm, clean pools and coffee in the morning in lobby. Most of the Hotel workers were really wonderful and accommodating. Jazz music in the lobby. Rooms were spacious. Cons: if I knew it was a smoking allowed outside on patios I would have booked somewhere else. Rooms on the street could be loud and bright the smell of smoke was in our room. We couldnā€™t figure out why. Bathroom needed some tlc but hot water was great. Close to everything but far enough to not be in the thick of it.

Room had 3 issues. First there was a broken light switch with some tape and my wife just went to turn on without really looking and it cut her finger, not bad but enough to be aggravating for a couple of days. 2nd we got there kind of late, around 10pm and the tv didnā€™t work. Determined no power to it from extension cord coming literally out of the wall. By the way cheap low grade cord. 3rd and least of as the trickle shower but it was hot. I gave an ok rating because we were only there 10hrs and the location was good. Also as many of the quarter hotels it has a bit of a musty smell.

The staff are the shining highlight of our stay here. Staff were very courteous and helpful. We had to switch rooms because our original room did not have blinds over the windows on the door, and they accommodated that quickly. We also enjoyed the two cats hanging out by the pool.
