We stayed here because of a visit to TXSU, its very close to lots of dining, Dutch Bros coffee is in walking distance and the short trip to the school was straight through town. We found a delicious dinner option just by passing by and a few blocks away. Such a cute little town! Staff were all nice and friendly

the only reason I stayed here was its proximity to Texas State and pricing was lower than other hotels in the area. the place needs a refresh. the window treatments in my room were old and torn, the room smelled really musty. Overall, the room just didn't feel clean. the bedding was very thin and old. I will say the staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze.
