We absolutely loved our stay at Owl Cave Hotel! The room was lovely, the staff were kind and helpful, and the breakfast was so wonderful. The hotel also has a great location in Göreme with a wonderful view. We are so happy we chose this hotel!

WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY. It so accessible to all the fun in the area. The staff are very helpful. Was a little warm because they only provide fans. But otherwise very accomodating. Will be back for sure.

Room was a little damp as expected for a cave hotel but clean. The staff was excellent, very attentive, thoughtful, and spoke good English. We had to leave for the airport early (before their breakfast time) but the staff went out of their way to prepare sandwiches for us.

absolutely loved our stay at the Owl Cave Hotel! Everyone who worked at this hotel was incredibly kind and helpful, and elevated our experience at this hotel. it is located in a convenient area close to the town centre but on a quieter and less busy street. the rooms are great and the views from the terrace balconies is beautiful

We had a fantastic stay at the owl cave hotel. The hotel is in a fantastic location which is a couple of minutes walk from the balloon viewing point in the mornings. The hotel has a balcony area which is great for relaxing in the evenings. The breakfast was amazing. Freshly cooked each day and special thanks to Uģur and Ebru for their fantastic hosting at breakfast and the amazing food. Would highly reccomend this hotel to everyone

I had a pleasant stay at Owl Cave Hotel and really enjoyed how peaceful and quiet the environment was. The staff were generally warm and helpful, and the location worked perfectly for all my tours pickup and drop-off were smooth and convenient every single day. My room was beautifully lit, surprisingly spacious, and perfect for taking photos. Breakfast was also lovely and freshly made every morning, which I appreciated. There were a few things that could be improved, such as room heating and cleaning consistency, and I think the hotel would benefit from cleaner pet management. But overall, the stay was comfortable, the ambience was serene, and Cappadocia felt magical from here. Special shout out to the beautiful female receptionist.

The overall experience was good and a special mention for the breakfast should be made as it was excellent ! However we were a bit disappointed that the room had a strong sewage smell and that when we brought it up it was only fixed temporarily (smell was back in less than a day). It was also slightly perturbing that the honeymoon suite which has a lovely direct access to the terrace comes with other hotel guests sometimes smoking/drinking/chatting right next to your room. Moreover the parking situation is complicated. There is no hotel parking and the street parking is hard to get (we were not in high season).

If you’re looking for a legitimate cave hotel experience on a budget, The Owl Cave Hotel is an excellent choice. I stayed there in winter, and my room was incredibly warm and cozy. The staff were all so nice and courteous, making the stay even more enjoyable. Their balcony has also stunning view to watch hot air balloon in the morning because the hotel is just few mins away from the entrance of Aydin Kiragi Asiklar Tepesi. I looked forward to breakfast every morning because the food was arranged beautifully and tasted absolutely divine. Make sure to try their authentic Turkish coffee! Talay will guide you through the fascinating history of their coffee—he really knows his stuff.

Our stay at The Owl Cave was just okay. We originally booked the Premier Room with 1 King Bed, but the humidity, lack of ventilation, and lack of windows made the stay unbearable. Unlike other cave hotels, this room had not been equipped with proper ventilation - we would not reccomend staying in this room. Thankfully, the staff was extremely helpful and understanding. We were upgraded to another, much better ventilated room with great views of the city. If staying at the Owl Hotel, please make sure to go with the high-end rooms. Unfortunately, we had to check out early from the hotel and go to another one, because the upgraded room was reserved and we would have to go back to the original one. Looking past that, the facility at the Owl Cave felt a bit run-down. The place could use lots of renovations and more thorough cleaning. The rooftop had amazing views of the city, but was improperly maintained. It rained for a couple of days during our stay, and all the furniture on the rooftop got wet and was unusable at night. The staff could take better precautions - like covering the chairs during rain - to make sure all areas of the hotel are usable. By far the best part of the stay was the breakfast. It was delicious, and we ate like Kings! Sanitation was a concern for us, though. The staff serving breakfast had a very bad cold (and cough), but no masks or gloves were used to serve the food. Detracted from the experience a bit.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Owl Cave Hotel! The staff are SO lovely, I couldn’t imagine staying with nicer people. They have a dog named Toffee and he is just the sweetest!! They have a morning breakfast prepared by their own of their staff, and it’s SUPERB! And she is so sweet! She was making some fresh jam and the entire place smelled intoxicatingly delicious! The place is also really clean and well maintained! I will say for anyone who may have allergies or breathing issues any cave hotel might not be the best fit, or be prepared with your meds! That’s general to all cave hotels. They made sure I had everything I could need, and the location is extremely convenient! Thanks again to everyone for hosting us!

I really enjoyed my stay here. I was staying in the lowest priced cave room but it was still very comfortable and had enough space for me and my things for 3 days. Goreme is small so I guess it doesn’t really matter where you stay but it felt like I was located in an ideal spot up the slope with nice views of the town, within a short walk of everywhere, including the bus station for my onward journey. Saif couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful to me, helping to find a spot on a balloon at the last minute and putting up with my dithering due to the elevated costs (following a no fly day). He also helped re-arrange a sunset ATV tour that I’d booked, and booked me on to the Green Tour at the last minute, plus helped with arranging my onward travel. He even offered to help with anything else whilst I was still in Turkey, over and above what you could reasonably expect from a host. The rest of the staff were all great too and happy to chat and help where needed - especially the 4am wake up calls for the balloon flights. If that wasn’t all good enough to recommend a stay here, then the breakfast is the icing on the cake. Beautifully prepared and laid out and served with a smile. That personal touch made it very special and better than every other breakfast I’ve had during my stay. Oh yeah, and Toffee the house pug was good company too
