From check-in to check-out, our stay was amazing. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful! For example, we only had one night/day, and they made arrangements at the last minute to join the Red Tour and a taxi to the airport when we got back. We dined at the hotel restaurant for supper and the food (and service) was amazing! Breakfast was included and there were plenty of delicious options. We had a room overlooking the town and they recommended we get up well before sunrise to see the balloons launch - and it was absolutely spectacular!! The room was well appointed and was exactly as advertised. I would highly recommend staying at Mithra Caves Hotel and would go back in a heartbeat.

Great hotel with excellent views of the whole area and the hot air balloons. The room was quite big , well equipped and very beautiful with the cave style stone work and the hot tub was enormous. Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting cappadocia

The best location, situated on a high point in the center of town, offers the best view of the hot air balloons. The young staff member at the front desk was incredibly friendly and almost always accommodating; I was very grateful to him. The breakfast restaurant also offers a fantastic view.

The hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations! We booked the balloon view suite and the views at sunrise were more beautiful than we could have imagined! The balloons were surprisingly close! Our room was also just as pictured and they provided all necessary toiletries including slippers! As for breakfast it was genuinely the best hotel breakfast we've ever had. SO MUCH variety and the views were 10/10. Everything was truly perfect for our 5 day stay.

We found this property purely by reading the reviews on Expedia. We had high expectations and each expectation was exceeded. We arrived and were greeted warmly at 1 am due to flight delays. Because of the weather, the balloon ride was canceled at the last minute, even though we arrived with reservations made in Houston, Texas. The front desk at the Mithra Cave Hotel was instrumental in securing us alternate reservations for the balloon ride on the very first day that the balloons resumed their schedules. We had dinner at the veranda restaurant, which was excellent. The breakfast buffet is bountiful with made - to - order omelettes and generous selections from Turkish cuisine. It is served on the terrace with a great view of Cappadoccia. The hotel is well situated for guests to take walking tours down to the center of the city and then up the small side streets for a wine tasting, dessert and coffee, shopping, and other pursuits. The public transport to the airport was disappointing. It was late in arriving to the airport on time because the driver had to pick up other passengers from in and around hotels in Cappadocia. One final memory of the Mithra Cave Hotel: since I was leaving on the public transport to the airport at 5:20 AM, the front desk called to let me know that they would pack a breakfast for me. Complete surprise! It was like family packed a breakfast so I had nourishing food to eat! I would love to return to the Mithra Cave Hotel!

We had a great stay as a family of 5. Our room had a balcony which was an amazing place to watch the morning balloons from, plenty of space for the kids and separate sleeping area for the adults. Restaurant property was good, and had a nice breakfast. In easy walking distance to the whole town and lots of good dining options, staff were always helpful and their airport transportation was on time and well priced. Overall a great place to stay.
