We enjoyed our stay and especially loved the homemade breakfast prepared fresh every morning — a real highlight. The hotel offers an authentic cave experience, which is a novelty and something quite special to try. That said, cave rooms are unique but not necessarily the most comfortable, so it’s worth keeping that in mind.
The family room we stayed in could use a bit of TLC — the bathroom air vent was an exposed pipe, and the faucet was a little loose — but nothing major. The photos on Expedia show examples from various rooms of the same type, which can be a bit deceiving. For instance, we expected a family room with a balcony and large windows, but instead we were given one on the main floor beside a busy area, with only a small window and some noise.
Overall, a charming and memorable stay with warm hospitality and a few minor drawbacks.
