Hectic pace of life in quirky hotel

This is a trendy hotel with many small quirky details. Polite and helpful staff, an extremely large and busy main dining room. However, we noticed that the buffet themed dinner was extremely overpriced and in particular any drinks you may order to accompany dinner. The dining room is extremely noisy at breakfast time and the service staff were pushed to keep up with clearning away, topping up breakfast items and the general chaotic scene that played out in the morning.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Man sieht überall noch den Charme des alten Stahlwerks und trotzdem finde ich es modern. Wir haben ein schönes Zimmer im EG zum Innenhof gehabt, auch das war super. Wir haben den ganzen Tag gelüftet und zum schlafen das Fenster zu gemacht und somit auch von draußen nichts mehr gehört. Aber auch vorher mit offenen Fenster hat man nicht viel von der Terrasse gehört. Das Bett war super bequem, wir haben in keinem Hotel so gut geschlafen, wie hier! Wir hatten ein kleines Standard Zimmer gebucht, welches wirklich klein war, aber auch vollkommen ausreichend. Beim Check In und den ganzen Abend war das Internet ausgefallen, wir haben ca 10 Minuten gewartet und konnten dann trotzdem einchecken und auch am Abend beim Abendessen war es trotzdem möglich die Rechnung auf das Zimmer zu schreiben. Wir waren den Abend im Gustavs Abendessen. Das Essen war wirklich top. Es ist ein gehobeneres Restaurant und das hat man beim Essen und Service gemerkt, es war super und hat super geschmeckt. Wir haben auch das Spagehttieis probiert, welches ja schon negativ bewertet wurde, aufgrund des Preises. Da sollte man nicht vergessen, es ist für zwei Personen gedacht, also 8€ pro Person. Natürlich ist es nicht günstig, aber wenn man in eine Eisdiele geht, zahlt man wohl auch schon fast so viel. Und da darf man wieder nicht vergessen, es ist ein gehobenes Restaurant. Alles in allem Top!

Zimmer/Bad nett eingerichtet. Frühstück super, sogar mit Auswahl Hafermilch im Kaffeeautomaten. Einzig die Dusche hat bei der Benutzung stark gerochen (muffelig, unangenehm) und der Boden war sehr glitschig.

Blot et ophold hvor vi skulle bruge en overnatning. Meget fin morgenmadsbuffet. Til gengæld den ringeste restaurantoplevelse vi nogensinde har oplevet i Tyskland og det er set over de seneste 20 år. Sløv betjening, rigtig ringe mad og for lidt at vælge imellem. Og det i lyset af at prisniveau var over en god dansk steak restaurants menukort. Bare piv, piv ringe.
