We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Nelson. The apartment was clean and spacious. The location is also very convenient as it's close to the town centre. Overall vibe is great! We would stay there again next time we visit Nelson.

The room had everything we needed, was very clean. Full cooking facilities made our trip easier to get groceries & have plenty kitchen space to cook. The heated outdoor pool was an awesome bonus to the weekend.

Room was very comfortable as was the bed. However what I didn't appreciate is dispite the fact the hotel was quite full the restaurant was closed on Sunday night, it was easter sunday but other restaurants had opened. I had been looking forward to dining there again as the food was delicious. It was raining heavily and i was forced to drive to find somewhere else to eat. Didnt think that was good service for their guests.

The food at the restaurant was below average. Steak not cooked correctly and chips tasted rank (old oil). Could smell the table next doors fish wasn't fresh and was off putting.

We were only at Hotel Nelson for about 12 hours, selecting it because the front desk was open later than most other options and we had a late flight. The room was spacious and we were able to use the pool (nice) the next morning.
