Over all stay was great…. The rooms could use a blanket on the beds, not just sheets. Especially when AC is being used and also have a kettle to get hot water for coffee or tea in room. I would definitely stay here again. Location is perfect!!!! Staff were nice!

Was nice, comfortable hotel. Love the fact it was directly on the beach, accessible to loads of bars and restaurants along the beach, so didn't eat at all in the hotel. Unfortunately, I was without hot water for one or two days, but the issue was resolved pretty quickly. Staff were polite and helpful. For the price, was worth the stay.

The staff were excellent all around. From the time we arrived, everyone made us feel very welcome and at home. From the office staff to, the clean comfortable room, the food offerings and kitchen staff, drinks, friendly bar tenders, pristine beach and pool, excellent lifeguards and maintenance staff, and beautiful gardens, everything was great. They work hard to keep this older resort clean, always see the staff cleaning, especially around the pool and beach area. Beds and pillows were super comfy. We were on the second floor in a Deluxe room. The stairs going up could be a death trap! Every step a different height. If I were to go back I would ask for a main floor room. The room was lacking storage space, we like to unpack, not live out of a suitcase. Room was definitely spacious enough to have one. The toilet was about a foot off the floor on a little platform, another possible death trap lol. Hot water was sporadic but had good pressure. Restaurant on site was lacking, bar was pretty much nonexistent. So many other places to eat and drink close by, so not a real issue.

All the staff except for front desk was very helpful and sweet. Housekeeping informed us on day 1 that the spare key to our room was lost so she couldn’t clean our room. It took 4 days of asking at front desk and finally tracking down management ourselves to solve the issue. They compensated us with a free meal which was very appreciated. Front desk staff ignored our requests to copy our key for housekeeping. To me, front desk is a weak link in the chain of customer service here. Otherwise, amazing location, peaceful beach (yes, Jamaicans are always offering things for sale on the beach, but I understand they’re just trying to make a living after a devastating hurricane. Also, it was convenient to get patties and juice and fruit on the beach). The pool is well maintained. The food is decent. The rate is good. The beds are very, very firm. Too firm for me. Other people may like that. There are no hooks or towel racks in the bathroom. An odd thing to be missing in a hotel. All around 3.5/5

Travelling solo it was a great place to relax and unwind in September, the pool and beach were beautiful. Room was clean and the fridge was an added bonus. The grounds reminded me of a rain forest especially when it was raining I was still able to sit on my patio and enjoy it. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back again.

I loved Negril Palms. It was so beautiful and peaceful. I felt like I made friends with the staff there…mainly Legion the bartender and Dania, the main waitress who was always friendly and helpful.
