A lovely boutique hotel in a very safe area, conveniently located near a grocery store with several restaurants just a short walk down the strip. The hotel itself is beautiful, featuring a gorgeous beach area, a nice pool, and a great bar. One thing to keep in mind: if you’re hoping for an ocean view, be sure to book a room on the second floor, as the bushes can block the view from first-floor rooms. The staff was definitely welcoming and I love that they played Caribbean music vs American 80s music.

We had an incredible time at Footeprints. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very easy to access. The service from Nas, Kerry Anne, Melonie, and Derron was wonderful. Everything felt effortless and they all made us feel so welcome. The food was so good and the staff did a great job recommending meals they thought would fit our taste. Every suggestion was spot on. I also had an excellent massage from Carol that was so relaxing. The hotel is right on a gorgeous beach and the whole property felt very safe and comfortable. I would absolutely feel fine staying here even as a solo traveler. I honestly wish I could go back already. I would easily give Footeprints five stars and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Negril. Such a beautiful experience and amazing hospitality.

Room was clean and you can tell it’s new. Staff friendly, right on beach. But, nothing over the top, no spa, restaurant basic, bar/bartenders had limited product and for then price I could have been something with more accommodations. I wish I stayed at the skylark next door more lively and had everything you would have expected from a new place like this. Also, shuttle from and to airport would have been $200 each way. Personally now that I’ve been no Negril, I find a chill inexpensive place because you’re mostly out on beach and not living in your room. Otherwise spend the extra and stay and sandals up the road.

Staying at Negril Footeprints was an absolute delight. From the relaxing ambience of the property, to the warm hospitality of the staff which really contributed to the reset experience I was looking for. If you ever visit, you must try the Jamaican breakfast at the on property restaurant Blushy’s. The mackerel run dung to be exact, truly delicious and I looked forward to having the blue mountain coffee with sweetened condensed milk each morning. It’s a foodie’s dream. There’s a lot of attention to detail in the rooms and common areas which I admire as well. For example, the straw bed side mats that adds that lovely texture and Jamaican element to the room along with the mustard accent chair. As well as Mrs. Foote one the owners tending to the plants on site was also a highlight for me as a plant lover. Thank you to Ramoy and the Footeprints team for an enjoyable experience at this hotel. Shouts to Akeem and Oshane for making sure I was okay throughout my stay.

My work team stayed for 3 days during the Hurricane Melissa relief and we had the most excellent experience. From the manager Ramoy McFarlane - he was attentive from the moment we arrived to our departure, the brilliant front desk staff Shericka and Akeem to the restaurant staff Kerri-Ann everyone made it such a memorable stay. The rooms and amenities were beautiful!
