Resort was basic, clean, well-kept. No frills--tissues, hair dryers, bottle openers, but had good safes in room. I was unable to get smaller bills for a $100 bill. Seemed like a loyal following existed. Be sure to ask for ground floor if stairs are a problem, because second floor was brutal for a senior.

All inclusive did not include water!!! There was a charge per bottle, alcoholic beverage I could understand but basic water was excluded. Clean room, good value for the money. (But yes, definitely bring your own beach towel.)Tasty breakfast. Their beach area is small, but as you are free to roam the whole thing to your heart's content, I don't see this as a huge issue. There are not as many fancy amenities here as in a larger pricier hotel, but you get a lot more local culture & authentic experience staying in a place like this, so I think it's well worth it.
