This is my third trip to Jamaica and first at Royalton . I was here for a wedding and I had so much fun, the room was super clean and beautifully set up. The staff were excellent, we were greeted with drinks when we arrived and they took care of us right away. I spent 3 days and every morning I woke up with a beautiful sunrise over the ocean. I didn’t use the spa because I was busy with the wedding. The food was delicious, with many varieties and the staff there were very nice. The adults’ side is very quiet and laid back, it is somewhere to unwind while the family side is very upbeat. This resort is highly recommended.

Overall the resort was great! I didn’t know that the resort had just reopened, so there were extremely unexpected delays with checkin and items needed in the room, i.e. an iron and ironing board. Fire alarm was going off sporadically and it was loud! I was upgraded to a swim out and although it was nice, the pool was not clean at all. The food was great and the staff was as helpful as they could be I guess, but very jovial and pleasant. I’m sure when they are back up 100% it will be amazing and more timely with less delays. Although there were some cons, I still recommend staying here.

Our stay at the Royalton Hideaway was a great experience overall. The resort was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the restaurants were fantastic. Special thanks to our butlers, Mel and Daron, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They also did a great job decorating our room for my wife’s birthday, which made the celebration extra special. The only feedback I would share is regarding an excursion we took on a party boat. The boat included children and dropped us off at the opposite end of the beach from where we were picked up, which was somewhat inconvenient. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend the resort.

My husband and I were there celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. We could not be more pleased with our overall experience. From the moment we walked into the resort, everyone was so polite and helpful. We cannot say enough nice things about the staff. We had the team of Melisia and Chantae assisting us with reservations and such. They were amazing. We will ask for them when we go back. The room was very nice and had an amazing view. Housekeeping kept us very well supplied with towels as well as keeping the room clean. There were several restaurants to choose from. The one's we were able to try were very satisfying. The buffet had a wide variety to choose from plus several omelet/made to order eggs stations. We enjoyed the entertainment and activities as well as massages at the spa. The beach called out to us every day. Whether it was just relaxing, reading a book, snorkeling or partaking in water activities, we were beyond pleased with the ease of access, accommodations and maintenance of the beaches. We would recommend (and have) the resort to anyone. We are already planning our return visit.

We had a wonderful stay overall, but I want to provide balanced feedback regarding a specific incident after checkout. First, the positives: Our stay was made truly memorable by two exceptional staff members, Devaughn and Jermaine (From Prime) . They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. They are a credit to your team. However, we encountered a significant issue after checking out. We were given a dining pass so we could enjoy a meal before departing. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, we were told by the hostess that we could not be seated because our armbands had been removed. We explained we had just checked out and showed her the pass, but she insisted she was following instructions from her manager. Fortunately, a more knowledgeable hostess saw what was happening and intervened, resolving the situation. While we were grateful for her help, the initial interaction was frustrating and unnecessary. Suggestion for Management: Please ensure all frontline staff are adequately trained on policies regarding guests who have checked out but have valid dining passes. A little training would have saved us 15 minutes and a lot of confusion. Despite this hiccup, the service from Devaughn and Jermaine ensures we would consider returning. Thank you.

Royalton is a beautiful property, and the staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming. Unfortunately, the Hideaway adults-only section felt like an afterthought rather than the premium experience we paid for. Almost all the amenities were located on the main Royalton side, requiring lengthy walks. Hideaway had no dedicated buffet or proper dining area, meaning we had to share spaces with families and children. We specifically booked an adults-only resort for our honeymoon to enjoy a peaceful, romantic atmosphere, and that expectation was not met. The restaurants served good food, but the buffet lacked variety, especially during our midweek stay. The bars were not fully stocked, but we made do. Our room was not fully prepared upon arrival, although the initial issues were addressed promptly. However, our handheld shower broke on Wednesday night, and despite maintenance attempting repairs on Thursday, it remained broken when we checked out. This caused unnecessary discomfort and inconvenience during what should have been a relaxing honeymoon. The Hideaway side also lacked daytime activities and nightlife, making it feel rather boring. For an adults-only resort charging premium rates, we expected much more. Ultimately, Hideaway feels like an overpriced extension of Royalton rather than a true adults-only luxury experience. We had a wonderful honeymoon because we made the most of our time together, not because of what Royalton Hideaway offered. We will not be returning!

This resort was a wonderful stay and well worth the price, unfortunately we visited during a time of remodel so our room wasn't exactly up to a high quality standard however the facilities were still some of the nicest and I've been in. The icing on the cake was staff, I've never felt so more at home and welcomed and taking care of at any resort like I've been to in comparison. If anyone is visiting the pool bar make sure to say hello to chickpea.
