Beautiful property!! We stayed in Gemini 1. It was the perfect size for the 2 of us. Grounds were beautiful! We were able to Uber to the beach and into town but were secluded enough for peace and quiet for a relaxing trip for my husband and I after putting in our daughter’s wedding!!! Ivan’s had great food and the bar had awesome drinks and not too expensive. Would recommend and we will be back!

I stayed in the gatehouse for a few days as a solo traveler and loved it. Great air conditioning, private bathroom and open air shower. Trails of ants would make their way into the bathroom, but nothing extreme. I couldn’t find clear information, but breakfast is not included or paid for with a flat fee. It’s simply the restaurant onsite, Ivan’s. Loved their breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections! Good access to many lounge chairs and towels were available. I really enjoyed this location and felt very safe.

10/10 stars! I can not express enough how amazing this hotel and all the staff were. The hotel itself is gorgeous with the most beautiful grounds and beautiful views. The rooms were impeccably clean with everything you may need. We were able to stay in the private plantain cottage our last night and it was breathtaking. Our original room was gatehouse that was also a really cute room at a great deal! Ivan’s restaurant at the hotel had the best food we ate in Jamaica. The complimentary coffee was delicious and there wasn’t anything we ate or drank there that we didn’t like. The only thing better than all of that was the staff. From the security guards, to the bartenders, servers, cleaners and people working in the office , everybody made us feel very welcome. The manager Cassandra was amazing and so helpful, we went on a road trip one day to a river we would have never known about otherwise. All in all this was the perfect vacation spot that I would recommend one hundred times over. Truly looking forward to coming back in the future.

My experience at Catch A Falling Star was a pleasant one. From the moment I arrived up until the moment I left, everyone was extremely helpful & welcoming & friendly. The staff at Ivan’s couldn’t have been any more accommodating. Their efforts to assist me & to make me feel welcome was greatly appreciated. I also appreciated the dogs on the property. I am a dog person & having them there was a personal delight as we enjoyed breakfast together. I only wish there were cleaning supplies in the bathroom in order for me to clean my own messes, rather than leave that for the housekeepers. They were very accommodating & they should not have to clean up after my own “messes”. That aside, I really had a great stay there & the scenery is amazing. Thank you to the entire staff for making my first visit to the island a great one.

Here’s a version that’s under the 1,500-character limit while keeping your main points: Amazing stay. I usually choose all-inclusive resorts, but I enjoyed this even more. The food was outstanding and noticeably better than what I’ve had at most all-inclusives. Every meal was excellent, and there wasn’t a single item on the menu I didn’t enjoy. You’re also within walking distance of several great restaurants. The hotel is right next to Rick’s Cafe, which is perfect for the atmosphere, cliff diving, and incredible sunsets. I wouldn’t go there for the food, but that’s not why people visit. The staff was one of the highlights of our trip. Everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The bar had a great vibe. We met some really cool people, and because it’s popular with both hotel guests and visitors stopping in for food and drinks, you get a nice mix of people that makes the atmosphere even more enjoyable. This is a smaller, more intimate property than the big all-inclusive resorts, and that’s exactly what makes it special. If you’re looking to relax, enjoy amazing food, meet great people, and spend quality time with the person you’re with, this place is an easy recommendation. I’d definitely stay here again.

Catcha Falling Star exceeded every expectation. Having breakfast at Ivan’s with that cliffside setting is something you don’t forget. The staff made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived, hearing stories of how management has steadily been a rock of support for staff especially after Hurricane Mellisa speaks volumes, We were proud to spend time and money with an establishment that gives back to its staff in that manner .Overall the vibe was peaceful, intimate, and distinctly Jamaican. Catcha falling star is a beautiful little hotel. Great location in the west end of Nigril - beautiful restaurant and amazing staff one warning - if you are looking for somewhere really quiet - this may not be the best place for you as Rick’s cafe is next door (walking distance) and is quiet noisy and there are lots of boats going to Rick’s on an afternoon

It shower head is old and literally sprays water in every direction possible. Please replace the shower head!! Half the bathroom was wet after my very quick two-minute shower.
