Gomez Place was a wonderful hotel. Gomez, Tharusha and the whole team were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home. My room was large and had the biggest bathroom! There was an in-room safe, AC, Hot Water, parking at the back of the property, and walking distance to restaurants and beach. Breakfast was plentiful. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Gomez’s place. This place is a hidden gem and a quiet sanctuary away from the busy city. He and his staff were welcoming and very helpful, especially with helping us connect with the airline after losing our bags. He also set up a driver for us to our next location at a good price. He has owned his place for 28 years, here’s hoping for many more!

Gomez Place is a little oasis in Negombo. The room was immense with outdoor seating in one of the many parts of the glorious garden. The pool was refreshing and breakfast a treat. Staff were always available and helpful.

We booked as it had a good review. On arrival we thought the rooms were a bit dated but everything went up from there. The grounds are lovely, nice and intimate, the staff were fantastic and Mr Gomez greeted us at breakfast every morning. You will get offered eggs for breakfast but you can ask for a menu but limited offerings. having said that the eggs/omelette were fine for us. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I would stay again.

A very cozy place with just a short walk to the beach and shoppingstreet. Very nice staff that was so helpful when my mum forgot her phone at the hotel when leaving for the airport. Very nice breakfast and the best coffee I had in Sri Lanka.

Fab, quirky place - each room is very different. Really helpful & friendly staff. Great breakfast, cooked to order and taken by the pool. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach and bars/restaurants. Lovely introduction to our first trip to Sri Lanka. Recommend booking their airport pickup - it was nice to know that at the end of a long flight someone would be waiting for us. This is a very nice place to stay. Near the beach but an oasis of calm in the hotel. All the staff are very welcoming and helpful. I liked the pool for my water yoga and there was always some shade and sunshine so you could be comfortable.
