I enjoyed my stay and the staff were very good! Unfortunately, breakfast is suppose to be served daily at 06:00 and we only managed to be served just before 07:00, making us late for the golf tournament we went for. Additionally extreme profound inappropriate music was played with vulgar language at Sunday lunch, celebrating woman’s day. ??? But other than this, our experience was reasonably good.

Enjoyed our stay at Greenwood Manor. Their food is excellent. Staff etiquette is good. Very respectful and courteous staff. There's need for closed cupboards for clothes in the rooms. Roadworks are in place around the property. It is impossible to access the property using Google maps as the only entry into the neighborhood is a concealed dirt road. Very happy that the staff physically came out to meet us and direct us to the hotel.

Good location easy access to places we need to visit, hotel is a bit out dated, floors need re-doing throughout the hotel, rooms need to be updated and deep cleaned, Bar closes at 10pm, breakfast is ok but very basic, staff are very friendly and helpful Hotel tried to charge us for the room on leaving even though its been booked and paid via Hotels.com very stressful time took about an hour to sort out

This was my second 2-week stay at The Urban Hotel. I can tell you that, as someone who grew up in the UK and now lives in the US, this hotel makes the best chips I have ever had! The tea is decent. Breakfasts are great. And, even though the dinner menu is somewhat limited, it is all very, very good. A typical dinner costs less than $10 and will fill you up for sure. The room was good enough. The housekeeping staff, like all the hotel staff, were kind and friendly. The WiFi worked well, considering the challenges in Zambia with electricity. The hotel has backup power, too. An early morning stroll around the surrounding golf course is a great start to the day. Definitely stay again.

On the positive side...the staff is respectful and helpful. The breakfast buffet is ample and well stocked with custom egg orders available from the kitchen. Unfortunately, power seems to be unreliable, as is the internet...with no compensation offered for the inconvenience. The rooms are older with run down furnishings and decor. A concrete floor with no carpets or area rugs...so slippers are a must (which can be got from the front desk). There is a fridge in the room, which is a positive, along with a kettle My room key failed twice in a 6 night stay, so multiple trips back to the front desk for recharge. AC in the room worked quite well, however, I had no control over it as the remote didn't work. Shower had decent pressure and good temperature control, however, the water didn't drain well so I had to keep the pressure lower so I wasn't standing in inches of water. Laundry is well priced and returned same day, which was great. A quiet hotel as it's tucked away off the main road, with a decent bed, so I did get an excellent sleep for the week I was there. An average stay but a, seemingly, good value for what I paid. 5 minutes walk from a nice shopping plaza with groceries and several restaurants.

I was greeted each morning with a spectacular sunrise from my window. The buffet breakfast was great. As a Brit living in the US, I miss proper bacon and decent tea. This hotel provided both. Basically, breakfast was everything you need to have a full English breakfast plus continental options including fruit and salad. Zambia is currently struggling with rolling blackouts (in excess of 18 hours a day) but the hotel has backup power and so power was always available. The wifi was generally good except during parts of the power outage periods. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner menu was good and affordable (about $15 to $20). At $71 per night including breakfast and wifi, there's nothing to complain about.

Nice outdoor bar area and good water pressure in the shower. Directions in are tough as they have some road work near the entrance. Staff is pleasant and breakfast is simple but fresh. Ndola is a place I regularly travel and I would suggest anyone stay here, you won't be disappointed.
