Big room with uncomfortable smell. But the service at breakfast is very nice.

The staff cannot speak much English, but it is a good layover enroute from Yangon to Mandalay. Like all the other hotels in the area, it is huge and clean.
I spent 5 nights here for attending a conference in MICC-2. The room is large with air condition and free WiFi. Breakfast is average. Hotel staffs are welcome and have good English. The location of the hotel is quite separate from anyplace, you need car or taxi to go to the supermarket or conference venue. The nearby restaurant is within a long walking distance of 2 km.

A night at the Mysterious Capital
Naypyidaw is the mysterious capital of Myanmar. We stayed at this hotel for only 1 night as a rest-taking mid-point for our road trip from Yangon to Mandalay. At the check-in at night, the front desk staff couldn't speak English and couldn't find our hotels.com reservation. But still he gave us the keys to our rooms. The hotel is less than 2 years old and if that was the reason it was filled with the smell of construction. There was still a flower stand for their opening ceremony placed outside our room.
To be fair the amenities in the room were up to 4-star hotel standard - comfortable beds, in-room mini bar, hair drying, bathroom kits and a big soap etc. However, despite its short period of operation since opening, the hardware were not well-maintained. The hotel was very empty and we felt like we were the only guests that night. The good point was that the wifi was stable and fast. However, the credits should go to Naypyidaw not the hotel.
The next morning, we were happy to find out that there were 4-5 other guests at the breakfast but all the dishes (even the eggs and fried noodles) were cold and so I didn't have much. Overall speaking, would consider paying a little extra to stay at some other international brands if I ever visit Naypyidaw again.
Big empty hotel, just like the city itself. Lots of dust in the lobby, clean room, but the windows in our room hadn't been cleaned in ages. Big nice rooms, and very big bathroom. Wifi in the room. The hotel is located in an area where many other hotels are located, and you will need a taxi to get anywhere. The staff was quite helpful, but their lack of english knowledge made things harder than it should be in a big hotel like this.
