Older style of hotel with incredible staff and excellent value for the money. Large lobby areas where we saw travelers and families with kids playing while adults enjoyed drinks from the in-house pub and conversation. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was top notch with staff brewing coffee and tea to order. Staff even took time to help us puzzle out complex travel situations.

We have enjoyed our stay at the Newgrange Hotel. Our room was nice and clean with comfortable beds. We had somewhere to sit in the room and there was a selection tea/coffee available with the coffee machine and a kettle. We did have a problem with the shower, which kept going cold but we managed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice, nicely cooked and you could have just what you wanted. The meals in the pub were nice with a good choice on the menu. The entertainment on Saturday and Sunday night was great. Overall we would definitely recommend the Newgrange Hotel and we would certainly stay there again.

We only stayed one night, but I wish we had been able to stay longer. The location was excellent, right in the middle of an interesting area of the city, but it was surprisingly quiet in our room even with the window open. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. I think it was the best night sleep any of us got this trip. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and took advantage of the included breakfast the next morning. The food was all very good. The Library area was perfect for me to get some work done in the morning while the rest of my family slept. The room was clean and seemed to have a new rug and I really appreciated the tabletop fan in our room. I would choose to stay here again if I’m back in the area.

We have Stayed in The Newgrange many times & always enjoy our stay. Room was spotless but bathroom could do with a bit of Updating. Food was lovely but prefer the Menu they had before. We always enjoy our stays in The Newgrange though.

I can’t praise the staff enough. Ambassadors for their hotel, town and Ireland. Just nice, kind and local people. Rooms are functional and adequate. Parking is tight but it’s free and secure so no complaints.
