Amazing Stay!

We had an amazing stay at the Grand Nauvoo. The accommodations were exactly what we were looking for and the food was off-the-chart. The hostess provided for our every need and was very helpful in navigating the local scene. We loved our time there and will be back!

Great B&B!!!

We had a wonderful time at the Nauvoo Grand B & B. Laurie, the host was an amazing cook and host. Warm reception every time she saw us. We had a mix up in reservations at another hotel and ended up here, we are so happy we did and would do it again in a heartbeat.

The property was a beautiful period home, Laurie was kind & friendly. The room was clean & comfortable & the house was near to everything of interest to us. The breakfasts were delicious & Laurie made sure to accommodate food allergies. She let us check out a little late so we could change clothes before our ride when we left.

Home away from home in Nauvoo

We enjoyed our three nights at the Nauvoo Grand. It’s decorated beautifully and authentically, right down to the squeaky wooden floors and the period furniture. The setting is pretty with big trees and nice landscaping and the location was convenient to all the historical sites. Our host Laurie did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. We especially enjoyed the fabulous breakfasts each morning and her making us feel comfortable and welcome in her home.

fits the ambiance and mood of Nauvoo.

While I was expecting a stay in an older house of historic nature, I wasn't really prepared for the older house amenities. the creaky steps and small size of our bathroom and bed were a little disappointing. The breakfast in the morning was amazing! delicious foods and good conversation with our guests made it feel right at home.

Unbelievably beautiful! Susie pampers you and provides the most fantastic breakfasts imaginable. Within minutes of all the Nauvoo attractions. We could not have had a better experience.

This is a beautiful older home that has been setup as a B&B. We really enjoyed our stay; this will be our first choice, if we visit Nauvoo again.

The Nauvoo Grand Bed & Breakfast is a bit away from the main area of Nauvoo, but it is located in a quiet and beautiful area. It is an old home and the outside is old, but the inside is beautiful, cozy and clean. Suzie, the caretaker, is sweet and perfect. She's also a wonderful cook. Our breakfast was presented beautifully and was absolutely delicious! We stayed in the Ellen's Orchard room. It is beautiful. It does not have an attached bathroom, but the bathroom assigned to it (not shared with other rooms) is the largest bathroom. It also has a jetted tub & shower. As long as you don't need to make nightly trips to the bathroom, this room is wonderful. If you do, need to make nightly trips, this isn't the room for you, but any of the others are just as beautiful.
