It was so much fun to stay in the Natchez Grand and have a view of the Mississippi River! The downtown area is walkable, with a great view of the sunset over the River. The local restaurants are good. Breakfast at the hotel good as well. The long line at 4 pm check-in was not anticipated nor preferred, but otherwise out stay was great.

The hotel certainly holds up to its name.."Grand"..The location is Perfect! The breakfast was delicious! And most of all were the beautiful and kind young ladies and the men who works at the hotel. Everyone was so helpful and courteous. My room had a view of the river. Just a few feet from the hotel is a wonderful path along the river with benches for seating whenever you felt like resting. Shopping is in walking distance along with varios restaurants. I will certainly stay here again!

The bed was comfortable and toilets were clean and the property had many great amenities. The lobby is much nicer than the rooms. I loved the artwork and the location. The outside of the building is even pretty. However the rooms need updated. The carpets and furniture are dingy and dusty. The staff was top-notch and very accommodating. Being historic doesn't mean it can't be clean.
