Buffet breakfast was amazing!! Room was clean! Staff were very helpful with anything I asked for. They were friendly, eager, very helpful. The beach is right across the street, along with many places around to eat. The best burritos around are at Cactus 222, located just around the corner from the hotel, and it's next to a market. Shoping is all around within walking distance. A must to visit is the Straw Market with many other shopping choices all around and all within walking distance. People were so friendly, and felt very safe being there. This was a girls trip. We will be back.

This was the wordy hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s was dirty, the pool water smells bad, the furniture inside the rooms and lobby are all dirty. The floors everywhere were disgusting! Roaches in the bathroom! The food was ok, only. They say it has a laundry room, and when I needed, guess what? It didn’t exist! Then I asked the house cleaner to just dry our soaking swim clothes for 15min before I packed them back into the suitcase, the answer was, no! The beach in front of the hotel is terrible! Infested with rats!!! Rats and more rats! The staff tried, but the property and services were mediocre to say the least! NEVER AGAIN!! 😝

Breakfast was fresh and good, with a nice selection. The pool was nice, and across the street at Janakoo Beach, they had a booth that would give out beach towels and lounge chairs. The water was beautiful and had a nice breeze. There were good views and nice eats at local restaurants on the beach walkway, with quite a few selections.

I've stayed in many IHG hotels, and even though this Holiday Inn is an old property, I believe the staff works extraordinarily hard to make everything as good as it could possibly be. 😁. Breakfast was hot and quality and choice of items very good. Everything in my room worked fine. And a quick note to thank both from desk ladies, when I checked in with Chantelle and when I checked out with Dandra (spelling?), they were great! And the kitchen staff also showed great customer service with smiles and friendly interactions. All good. I think I have only the suggestion that the hotel would benefit from a bit of updating in the rooms when possible. I would certainly stay here again but almost entirely because of the staff!

Not the standard we know of Holiday Inn. Rooms are soo small, bed is a Double bed for 2 people. The first room we were given had a broken bed, I had to complain before I was moved to another room. Complimentary breakfast was nice though. Totally not worth the expensive amount I paid. Positive side is that its in downtown and Junkanoo beach is right across the street.

The room (clean) had a view out to the water. There was a fridge and microwave and coffee pot - felt like a micro apartment. There's a staircase onto the roof to enjoy even more views. Right at a pedestrian crossing to the beach. Secure micro-resort. Nice pool, Well kept, Good breakfast food (variety and abundance) And the STAFF ARE AMAZING!!!
