Our stay at the golden palms was wonderful. It was quiet, the staff was extremely kind and friendly and there were a few restaurants and the beach a short walking distance. I would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to the Bahamas

The landscaping of the property is very beautiful. The grounds are clean, well-groomed, and the yard is spacious with lots of fruit trees, plants and flowers. The building, interior and exterior appearances, look good as well.

Staff super friendly and helpful. Clean. Quiet. The only real issue was location. As. Solo traveler I felt it would be safe, and it was, but was really far from downtown, causing a ton of money in cabs. No fault of the facilities. An amazing stay overall. Breakfast was good as well.

The Golden Palms is close to the airport but it’s difficult to walk anywhere as there’s a lot of traffic and no shoulder or sidewalk. The place itself is clean and the staff are friendly but the shower barely works (no pressure) and was only lukewarm.

Love this place! It's great for people transiting between Nassau and other islands. The shuttle is convenient and won't cost an arm and a leg like those other taxis at the airport. It's also a short walk to love beach where there is a bar that serves really good conch fritters! The beach nearby is lovely and very quiet. The beds in the hotel is firm, which your mileage may vary but perfect for someone like me. Staff was super friendly. FYI, for other reviewers who said the place is dark and dingy, they keep the lights low because Nassau can get hot! They do that to keep the hotel cool. Definitely recommended.

It was average. It was like pulling teeth to order drinks or get any service. Tried to bully us to pay a taxi we no longer needed. Didn’t feel welcomed at all. For $300 a night expected a little more.

You get what you pay for.

The place is in the middle of nowhere. You need a car if you want to do anything. It could use a little bit of renovation. You need to pay to get water, even at breakfast. They don't offer any tea for the room. One of the stoves did not work. Breakfast is pretty limited. I think it's what you got to expect for the price. Aside of that, the staff was pretty helpful and nice. It is a family owned place. They helped us order pizza and cut some coconuts for us.

The room I stayed is rather small, doesn’t even have a table for simple work. Bath room is tiny, and had an unpleasant smell. Sink is so small that I cannot even put a cup on the side. Guests next door were rather loud, woke me up 2 AM in the morning. Shuttle to airport is not cheap at $20
