The property and hotel we so unique and fun! Very bright, clean and cheery. Very sweet extras to make our stay even more memorable. Close to the stadium and shops. We will definitely stay here again.
This is such a beautiful Zen property with beautiful stained glass windows. It’s in a great location if you like thrifting and being away from the Broadway crowd. Lotta great restaurants and museums close by.
I stayed here for one night for work. My room was perfect! It was clean and had everything I needed. The hotel was so cute! I loved not having to pay to park and I was able to walk to restaurants to eat. I would for sure stay here again.
Beautifully restored building with very cool architectural features. The rooms were very comfortable and super quiet. Located in the historic Edgefield neighborhood with well preserved homes from the late 1800s, a nice place for a morning walk. The common lounge areas were stylish and we enjoyed the coffee bar with hot water for tea. Parking is convenient and Ubers were plentiful $10 to Broadway.
Great unique property in a lovely Nashville neighbourhood. Had a few messages with staff before we arrived and they were extremely helpful.
Rooms are lovely and the parking is free and really convenient, we only stayed one night on our trip but would have loved to stay more.
The Russell is a cute and unique hotel. I love the stained glass windows, they really stand out. Management was so communicative and welcoming, and made sure the check-in and checkout processes were super simple. The room had everything we needed and I loved the smart tv so I could stream my movies. I would definitely stay there again and have recommended this hotel to my friends!
I absolutely loved this boutique hotel. It has gorgeous windows, the entry is keyless (you get an email with the door code) and you walk into a gorgeous lobby (coffee/tea area) is available. You will walk by an area that has a vending machine/phone area.
Our room was on the 2nd floor (King - also digital entry), and it was super cute and pink. The bathroom was gorgeous, and they had a complimentary snack box w/ waters and a few snacks. Profits also go to helping a non-profit in the area :)
Parking is free across the street (super easy access). I would highly recommend this hotel if you like artsy, eclectic stays (that are also super clean and have gorgeous bathrooms
The Russell was so clean and beautiful! The location was perfect for us! We loved the coffee bar. I would recommend it to family and friends! No disappointments at all! Great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Nashville!
Fantastic, unique place to stay, I can’t wait to come back. Wonderful room (we stayed in the double king skylight room) with such fun touches (headboards were old church pews) Lots of restaurants within walking distance but still quiet and relaxing. Loved the beautiful lobby area, coffee station, ice and filtered water that were available. Highly recommend!
Loved our stay . Convenient location , great coffee station , beautiful unique property, quiet. Only tho g I would add is the ability to add a mid week clean for those staying longer or towel service . Maybe that was a possibility … and I just missed it ???
Love staying here so much! It's always been a wonderful experience when staying in Nashville. The beds are so comfy, the robes are fantastic and the room has many amenities and details that take the experience above and beyond. And the customer service has been top notch even though there is no on-site staff.
Such a beautiful unique stay!
Excellent on site parking, exceptionally clean and everything you could possibly need.
Staff was available and answered promptly with any questions. 100% will stay again
An incredible stay, in a gorgeous neighborhood, close to everything with plenty of parking. My room came with complementary snacks and champagne and I really loved trying out the Dyson fan and hair dryer! If I’m in Nashville again I would want to stay here again. I attended a show at the Basement East and it so close to the hotel.
I was in town for a concert. Since I had additional time, I discovered how delightful East Nashville let's become! The Russell is right around the corner from lovely shops and its highly accessible to the rest of all of Nashville's appointments.
The hotel is it's a great stay! It is aesthetically gorgeous and Tennessee eclectic. The converted church is in a cute neighborhood full of lovely craftsman homes and it's location makes everything really walkable, or if you prefer, there is a parking lot across the street. Keeping with the concept of Tennessee ecleinctic, there is no front desk or concierge on site. The staff is easily and quickly accessible by email or text and the hotel itself They checked in multiple times to make sure that our stay was to expectation, and I was happy to report to them that our room and the common areas well maintained and managed. We'll definitely stay here again when in town!
This property was spectacular! It was beautiful, unique, clean, comfortable beds, (free) water, snacks, and other conveniences,
Those with mobility issues should be aware of the need to climb steps into the building and potentially to your room. Also, while there are signs to rooms, they’re a little hard to read at night and not at the entrance.
This was a great place to stay while visiting Nashville for the first time. The hotel is beautiful and cozy. The rooms are also very nice, clean and allowed us to have some good night's sleep.
The location is also very nice. It's on the east side, so it's a nice quiet area, but very close to all the great places on the east side, and not so far from the downtown, which you can get with a five-minute Uber/Lift.
It has a big parking lot next to the building, which also makes it very adequate if you have a car.
The management was very professional and responsive, which is great for a boutique hotel that doesn't have an actual employee in a lobby. We were able to communicate with them and solve a couple of issues very fast and easily.
Definitely a highly recommended place. Will look to repeat a stay at the hotel very soon.
