Close enough downtown to get a Lyft or Uber to all the action. Restaurants in the area were good

Hotel has an extremely overpriced Valet service ($42!), which is misleadingly described as ‘parking available’ on Expedia. Breakfast was of poor quality and limited choice, and the breakfast staff was rude in answering the simplest questions. If you like to sleep past 7am this is not the hotel for you as roadworks right in front will wake you up at 6.30.

Issues with check in and apparently overbooked issue. Staff did all they could to help but room was not what I booked
Also, and most importantly, at least$100 discrepancy with billing.
Hope they fix it as promised at checkout time.

The hotel is a good, clean hotel at a good price point. It is slightly dated and could use new pillows and mattresses. But overall solid. The unfortunate part at present is the construction surrounding the property - the machines started up before 6am. Nothing the hotel can do about it, but you might ask before booking about the current construction. As far as valet fees, all the hotels around here charge them.

The bed was comfortable, except the A/C was loud and blew right onto the bed. Water was not given- they charged $8/ btl. for the Fiji water on the desk. The 1 bar of soap was tiny, and we never had our room cleaned, on our 3 night stay, even though we requested that. The room was loud- you could hear people coming in until the wee hours of the morning. The pipes were loud, too. It was a lousy experience, especially with what we paid.

The lobby is cute, the location is nice, and the staff are pleasant. Those are the only nice things I have to say about this hotel. The room was musty. There is no fan in the bathroom. The air conditioner is way too loud. The walls and windows are extremely thin. I can hear EVERYTHING going on outside and in the other rooms (including explicit activities). I can hear every single person who comes to get ice. The walls in the bathroom are filthy! The wall near the desk in the room is dented. The drain in the bathroom sink is rusted. The shower head is not properly attached to the wall. The fitted sheet on one of the beds has a hole in it. There were only two Kleenex in the box. The paint on the bathroom door is peeling. Breakfast is a joke! The room does not have a microwave. I don’t want to go to the front lobby just to warm my food. This has been a terrible three night stay. I will be checking out bright and early in the morning and I will not be returning to this hotel. Again, this review has nothing to do with the staff. They were awesome!
For travelers who are not familiar with the area, be aware that there is construction taking place Monday-Friday that keeps everyone in the front rooms awake.
