It seemed to have been remodeled, clean, close to restaurants. The only thing is that it was far away from Broadway, had to take Uber or taxi, got to be expensive, especially the taxi's.

Perfect for the price point!

For the price point this hotel was an excellent choice. It was clean and nice and got the bill for our one night get away. Uber was easy to take downtown and reasonable to and from this location. We would stay here again.

Clerk at desk was rude. And they are not pet friendly if they charge $75 extra for a pet. No where in the reservation process was there an extra charge for pets mentioned.

My child and I stayed here on NYE so that we could go shopping and go the movies and not have to share the road with impaired NYE drivers at night. The elderly lady that worked the overnight shift on New Year’s Eve has no business working that shift. Brown and black people appeared to make her feel anxious and panicked while she seemed more at ease around the hotels’ Caucasian patrons. It was also strange that the room had no coffee maker or microwave but they did have a mini fridge. Otherwise, the facility was safe, clean, and updated, the rooms were nice, and everything worked. We would stay here again. We would try to make sure we purchased whatever we needed from the front desk before the rude overnight ladies shift.

Disappointed Spark by Hilton does not meet Hilton standards. Can tell the upgrades to an old building, some work is decent but I can tell its an old building and some work to the building was not done (ie for eg the elevators and paint sloppy in some areas). I must have missed the note about no hot breakfast here, but its just bagels, toast and muffin's. Also disappointed the gym is not set up for use and it was not posted on social/webpage gym is unavailable. Lastly, little details; needed conditioner. Our shower had shampoo and body wash only. Called down to ask for conditioner and they dont have any :/. For me who travels quite frequently, little details can add up and not impressed with this stay. Surprised Hilton put their name on this mid updated hotel.
